Origins of this name are unknown, but he knew his name and responded to it when we first met.
Porkchop was abandoned, and found wandering aimlessly beside the highway of Haidi Gwaii. Pacific Coastal kindly gave him a complimentary plane ride to Victoria where he lived on a farm and watched all the small dogs get adopted. He had a keen eye,and helped one very special nervous dog get adjusted. The two became quick friends. He is a great protector of all creatures big and small. Porkchop is the most zen dog I have ever rescued, he is part buddhist monk I swear. Known for his calming influence he is the ” go to guy” and hands out licences to chill. He reminds us all that everything will eventually be resolved. Nothing is permanent. Porkchop is the Director of Serenity
